OPSAIL 2000 July 4.

Over the 4 of July weekend Sea Scout Ship 84, "Resolution" and Ship 110 "Not By Bread Alone" sailed from Southport and Bridgeport Connecticut respectively to participate in OPSAIL 2000 in New York City.

The Ships departed on Sunday July 2 and stayed at the Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy.

On July 3 the ships departed Kings Point and joined in with OPSAIL vessels of Fleet 2 and paraded down the East River to moor at Gravesend Bay.

On July 4, Resolution and Not By Bread Alone formed up with the other 100 plus Ships of the OPSAIL 2000 Fleet 2 parade.

After the parade Resolution and Not By Bread Alone sailed back up the East River to birth again at Kings Points.

July 5, Ships 84 and 110 returned home.
