The PPS consists of an Intel based PC is shown with Dual SGI SW1600 flat panel displays. The images below show the PPS configured in the vertical and horizontal display configuration.

The computer was assembled from components to maximize functionality and minimize cost.

The computer case is a commodity mid tower case. This size case was selected mostly to provide a display platform for vertical screen presentation. This case size would also allow for the expansion of disk storage to well over a terabyte if required. The motherboard selected is also capable of allowing up to 4 displays to operate.
